LeNS, the Learning Network on Sustainability is a project for curricula development and teaching diffusion on Design for Sustainability focused on product-service system innovation.

Any design student, teacher, reseacher, designer, person can join the network and register to view for free the Open Learning E-Package (learning Resources and tools) and the Project Courses.

Any design school, single teacher, research institute, network can join the network and become a member. Membership of LeNS Network allows to be a recognised part of an international community active in the field of Design for Sustainability and receive updates of the LeNS project..

Any design school or single teacher can download the site and then modify it, facilitating the generation of local and regional Learning Networks on Sustainability. The LeNS site is for free, in copy left and open source ethos.

 

Teachers can:
1. download;
2. modify/remix;
3. reuse
a set of free of charge, copy left, open learning resources, such as slide shows, texts, audio, video, etc; as well as a set of tools for designers, to help activating new courses or upgrading existing ones.

Students can view learning resources and tools for designers related to his/her course or others.

Designer (anyone) can view self learning resources and tools for designers.

 

Teacher can create a web space for his/her course on DfS and activate student's spaces for uploading their projects

At ongoing projects students can upload intermediate and final project results in different formats in the space created by his/her teacher

Teachers (and students) can upload critics and feedback to projects uploaded at ongoing projects.

Anyone can view best sustainable student projects at archive project.
